Hagrid's Ride to Open Midday for Next Few Weeks.

Hagrid's Magical Creatures Roller Coaster will be opening midday to accommodate tight maintenance schedule.

As with every coaster bearing new technology, there's some downtime to deal with during the first few opening weeks.Universal today announced that the coaster will be opening later in the day for the next few weeks to accommodate a busy maintenance schedule.

The revolutionary "Hagrid's Magical Creatures" story-coaster at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure.

 "This is our most sophisticated, high-performance ride system ever - and our team needs time to take care of the ride's daily maintenance and technical support. It's been challenging for them to do that with our current operating schedule," said Universal Orlando in a statement.

"We've been working hard to make sure everyone that wants to ride gets to do so."

The roller coaster is the first in the World to feature a quick-switch track feature, 7 LSM launches, and is also the longest roller coaster in Florida. Take a look at the full statement from the park below.
