Default TOC2 Round 2: Launched Looping Coasters

Round 2 of the Yellow Bracket kicks off with a battle of some of the most popular launched looping coasters in the US - Universal's Islands of Adventure's Incredible Hulk Coaster takes on Cedar Point's Maverick, Disney's Hollywood Studio's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Kings Dominion's Flight of Fear.

Remember to vote for your FAVORITE coaster of the four, and the top three scoring rides will advance to Round 3! Also keep in mind that this is not a team battle; it's every man for himself!

I'll be going for Maverick, with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster as a close second.

Another easy one; Maverick. I'll vote for that ride all the way through the tournament. It's just awesome.

My vote here went to Rock N roller coaster. I really like Hulk, but I actually only think the front part is great; once the car goes behind the building the ride is slow and dull. RNR doesn't ever get dull.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster for me as well. I'm not a fan of Incredible Hulk Coaster. The G's hurt my brain and the layout fizzles very quickly before the midcourse brakes. I don't care for Maverick. I think part of that is the awful restraints, but really, the ride just does nothing for me. I'd truthfully like Maverick a lot more if those two corkscrews weren't there. They just get in the way of a lot of potential. I like Flight of Fear, but there is no doubt it is rough, even without the over the shoulder restraints. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster has held up well. At ten and a half years old, I challenge you to find many other Vekoma coasters of that era that run as smoothly. It's exciting, it's fast, it's got good pacing and some nice surprises in the layout. It deserves to move forward.

I was thinking about voting for Hulk in this one..But yesterday got a chance to ride RnRc again after some time, and I had forgotten how good the ride was. I really enjoyed it. The inversion after the first loop feels amazing. The rest of the layout is pretty good an very enjoyable as well. So RnRc for me.

RnRC. Aerosmith, great theme, incredible launch, pure all out fun!
Epcot Center also features pavilions built by various foreign nations, where you can experience an extremely realistic
simulation of what life in these nations would be like if they consisted almost entirely of restaurants and souvenir stores.

Not a lot of love for Flight of Fear! It looks like a fun ride, but it is up against some pretty tough competition.

Flight of Fear is pretty rough - even with just the lapbars now. I'm sure that plays a lot into the vote numbers. Honestly. the only reason it made the tourney in the first place is because there aren't many rides of that style out there to line up against. I didn't expect much different than what's happening here.
