I went with X2, with Thunderhead and Fahrenheit as close seconds and thirds respectively. As I have said before, and will say again, X2 is simply one of the best roller coasters in the world. It has its flaws, inconsistency being one of them. However, when it's on, it's on to an extent that really revolutionizes what you think about how intense a roller coaster can be.

It's getting tougher to choose for sure, but I had to go with Thunderhead. I love SheiKra. X2 is hit or miss - awesome or awful depending on the train so it makes it difficult for me to support. I think Fahrenheit is nothing special, so that one was an easy pass. LOVE Lightning Racers - two of the most fun wooden coasters out there, so it was tough not to pick. Prowler is good, but over way too quickly. Thunderhead, on the other hand, is one of those few rides that I get off, run down the exit path and get right back in line over and over. Easily the best wooden coaster of any I've ridden in my book. It deserves to go far in this or any poll!

X2. I think I've explained the ride twice from the last two polls already, so I'll just stick with it gives such an amazing experience...

I think I gotta go with thunderhead. It's one of the best wooden coasters around if not the best.

With X2 and Lightning Racers a close second and third I would have to vote for Sheikra. It is definitely one of the smoothest coasters out there. The pause at the top of the first drop is greatness and it continues throughout the whole ride.

I went with Thunderhead here. Sheikra is awesome but really a drop and thats it. I like the wodden coasters and out the five here this one seemed the most thrilling. For a wooden coaster Thunderhead had a pretty ool first too, the station flyover.

I am not a huge fan of wooden coasters. I enjoy them but not that much. X2 seems to be really intense and fun, but from what I hear its also a bit rough. Sheikra for me in this one.

Sheikra is pretty awesome. I was there on opening day and waited in line for almost 3 hours to get to ride it. I had a premium annual pass at the time and, since it had started raining and the line disappeared, they let me ride a second time without waiting.

I am too scared for the front row though. And I havn't been back to ride it since it went floorless.

Got to go with Thunderhead here. It never lets up, the lovely padded seats are a huge plus, and, I agree with Chris, I've run down the exit stairs and right back around to the station more times than I can count! Thunderhead all the way!
