Jurassic Park Coaster Track On-Site at Universal Orlando
With Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike now open to the general public, the next big clearing of land is being watched closely by Universal and Jurassic fans around the web. Today some shiny, new, dark-colored track was spotted on Universal Orlando property.
It looks to be similar in style to that of Hyperion (Energylandia) or Skyrush (Hersheypark), which indicates Intamin as the manufacturer, as previously thought.
The thick spine and cross-ties hopefully indicate that this will be a four-wide train and (if I'm not mistaken) what will be Intamin's first 4-wide launch coaster, but of course it's too early to tell from one blurry photo.

A similar-looking coaster style. Skyrush at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA features this thicker track style because of the intense forces placed on the track by the heavier train. |
The Jurassic Park coaster project is expected to open in 2020.
that surely doesn't look like JP coaster track.. It's far too identical to the Guardians, and similar to Tron.. Are you sure this is JP track or was a photo spotted of "track" and you just assumed.. many photos of both Guardians and Tron @https://www.reddit.com/r/OrlandoFun/
ReplyDeleteand this track matches others very well.
This one is Jurassic, there’s more pictures online that have surfaced now. And this is on universal property. This has a larger spine than Guardians and also is Intamin track and not Vekoma.
